My baby shower was wonderful and my heart swells for the people that actually came. There were certain people I already knew would come, others who surprised me by coming, and then those who I expected to come and didn't. I can't control people's actions and to be honest, I don't even care. People that don't want to be apart of my life aren't hurting me any. I'm about to be a mother to a beautiful baby girl and that's my only focus. However, the people that did take the time out of their busy lives to come have my dire appreciation and gratitude.

We aren't doing topping off the list, there are a few things I still need: a video baby monitor, a diaper bag, and wet mats. We are working on getting the baby monitor first because they are so expensive. And I have two diaper bags but they are both boys. I would really like a girl one. Other than those few things, we pretty much have everything we need. She is getting closer and closer to being here. I'm so excited. She is currently kicking the crap out of me, which has become a part of our daily routine. She never stops moving it seems like! I am not complaining though, I love those little (or big) kicks.
